This word always freaks me out for some reason. A doppleganger is a look alike but it is often seen as a bad omen to view your own doppleganger.

no, the correct spelling is DoppelgÄnger(yes, capitalized), because it's a german word, but you don't have the ä on your keyboard, so I guess it's alright. :)
