  1. I think therefore… and Don’t let those of questionable birth..
    “Cogito ergo sum” => “I think, therefore I am” attributed to René Descartes.
    My mother, an attorney well-versed in Latin used to laughingly say, “Illegitimi non carborundum” => “Don’t let the bastards get you down (or grind you down).”

    the word snob, snobbish comes from the Latin phrase s.nob- sine nobilitas meaning ‘without nobility’ which was written next to the names of all exceptionally intelligent children who managed to get into the world’s top universities without being nobility.
